Feline form, primarily the “Tiger” has been the leitmotif for me. I set a flowing outline that encompasses the beauty and strength of this fierce animal. I frees the aesthetic imagination over the head, torso and limbs of the forms with tenderness and care and negotiates the energy of its muscles and skeletal structure with optical effect linear patters, that allow the viewer to embrace the animus with care. The disposition and spirit of these feline creatures are further owned up by me to integrates poetic symbolism through added symbols human toes and fangs.
A subtle narrative is built with humanising the expression, sometimes in the singular head, at times in the dual or multiple heads or as the male and female counterparts, involved in a restrained sensitive chemistry. For me they act as a mirror and empathies for the animal. In the process i imbues my innate feelings into the animal form.
Momentum is gained through multiple heads and limbs and also through the flow of contrasting wavy patterns, over the curves of the tiger’s body. The purity of the form is retained in restrained use of greys, silvers, blacks with few bright spots of strong primary colours.
